Second Graders Were Treated To A $220, Seven-Course Meal. Watch What Happens Next.

Six second graders from P.S. 295 in Brooklyn visited the well-known French restaurant Daniel one Saturday afternoon last September. They were presented a seven-course tasting menu and the meal was served to them by five waiters.

Daniel Boulud, the star chef and eponym himself, oversaw the meal of the children. He says that the goal is “for the children to really discover a lot of flavor, a lot of layers, a lot of texture.”

The video was done for the Food magazine’s fall issue.
